Welcome!

What are therapeutic-grade essential oils and how do they benefit your life? Essential oils are the regenerating, oxygenating and immune defense properties of a plant. Any chemical combined with an essential oil destroys the effectiveness of its purpose and function. And Young Living takes it one step back from there. To assure the best quality and purest oils, the process begins with pure seeds and takes them all of the way through growing, harvesting, distilling, formulating, packaging and marketing. Young Living now has 400 acres of uncontaminated, organic land upon which they are growing plants and processing their own oils. As we begin to understand the amazing power of therapeutic-grade essential oils, we can comprehend the absolute necessity of obtaining the most pure essential oils possible, and with Young Living, there can be no substitutes, as anything less will not produce the same results and may even be extremely toxic. When we are new to "the oils", a bewildering array of choices can overwhelm you. Let me attempt to introduce you to the many options to help you make life-enhancing, healthy choices.

Time to detox?

How about those indulgences that we promise ourselves that we will take care of … sometime later. Well, we all set our own timelines, but what better time to get yourself rejuvenated than now? How about liberating your body from those nasty pollutants and encouraging more vibrant energy and vitality?? Are you feeling tired? A little sluggish? It could be internal pollutants - heavy metal contamination, undigested foods, parasites. We are all “walking toxic dumps” according to medical researcher Kenneth Bock, M.D. Because of the industrial wastes, pesticides, cosmetics, air, water, even the meat and dairy that we eat can have potentially harmful chemicals. And that puts enormous stress on your organs and tissues. Don’t despair. Young Living offers a variety of products to assist in maintaining optimal internal (and external) health. Where to start?? Cleansing. Cleansing or detoxifying the body is a time honored and effective way to combat unhealthy conditions. It cleanses your body and eliminates toxins and waste, enabling your body to regain the ability to function optimally. Under ideal conditions the human body is capable of maintaining its own health and righting itself, if an imbalance does occur. Unfortunately, our bodies do not live in ideal circumstances. We put harmful chemicals on our hair or skin. We place our health in jeopardy, ( I won‘t (today) get into the genetically modified products the we unknowingly ingest). We have too much stress. That can deplete the nutrient stores in our body. Young Living has an arsenal of organic, therapeutic grade essential oil enhanced products with positive antiseptic benefits to help cleanse , calm and sooth your body (and soul), as well as nutritional products to support the body systems, and healthful cleansing supplements to help clear out toxins and pollutants so your cells can regain their ability to function properly and effectively. To begin, Young Living has created a trio of healthful cleansing supplements. Comfort Tone ™ is an all natural, organic colon cleanser that includes an advanced mix of pure essential oils. It is designed to cleanse the colon to counteract bloating, gas and indigestion. Waste, gas and fermenting by-products of digestion have a high concentration of toxicity that can reside in organs and tissue. Second is I.C.P.™ , a fiber beverage that contains an advanced mix of toxin-absorbing fibers both soluble and insoluble, that include psyllium which may reduce the risk of heart disease, flax seed rich in omega-3 fatty acids and a unique blend of therapeutic-grade essential oils. Also included in this powerful drink are oat bran, fennel seed, rice bran, aloe vera, fennel, tarragon, ginger, lemongrass, rosemary and anise. Add to that Megazyme™, an advanced, multi-enzyme complex that is an invaluable source of predigestive and digestive enzymes which promote complete digestion and assist in the assimilation of nutrients. Undigested food saps energy, can promote overgrowth of yeast, fungi and parasites in the intestinal tract and contribute to sluggishness or rundown feeling that may be a precursor to illness. Growing older, our pancreas produces fewer digestive enzymes imperative to unlocking nutrient content , vitamins and minerals from our food and digesting the toxic wastes and fermenting proteins in the intestinal tract. This cleansing trio can help find you new energy and rediscover your zest for life. Please visit me at www.youngcanada-essentialoils.com for more info on cleansing and cleansing products

Some guidlines for safe use of the "oils"

Because essential oils are soluble with the lipid membranes of cell walls, they have an unmatched ability to penetrate cells and disperse within minutes throughout the body. Before you begin - always skin test an essential oil before using it. Each person's body is different. Start with a small area. Add one oil at a time, and allow enough time between oils (at least 15 minutes) to give your body time to respond before applying another oil. Always keep a bottle of mixing oil or any organic vegetable oil ( I use Sweet Almond Oil or olive oil - and always organic) handy when experimenting with essential oils. The organic vegetable oil will dilute the essential oils if they cause discomfort or skin irritation. People with allergies should always do a skin test before begining to use essential oils. Immediate dilution is strongly recommended if skin becomes irritated or if oil accidently gets in the eye. Avoid using water since essential oils are not water soluble, and water may cause them to penetrate more quickly and actually increase the irritation. If dilution does not provide relief, discontinue use and contact your healh care professional. Keep your essential oils out of reach of the children. Treat them as you would any product for therapeutic use. Essential oils high in menthol (such as peppermint) should not be used on babies under the age of 30 months. All pure essential oils should always be diluted (1 or 2 drops in 1 tsp. of organic vegetable oil) when using on babies or children under 6 years. Epileptics and people with high blood pressure should consult their health care practitioners before using essential oils and avoid using hyssop, fennel or Idaho Tansy oils.
